Fourth Journal

Hi Friends!

This is going to be my last journal for my writing class. As you read my previous post, I had written some pretty good narrative story, I might say. So maybe if you are interested, you can go ahead and read it and maybe give a feedback to help me improve my writing skills, I will appreciate that. Anyway, I have never made a narrative story before. Well, I read lots of narrative but I had never made one before. I was pretty excited, as I said in my previous journal, when I heard that our next assignment was making a narrative. I have always liked some kind of fairytale and fiction story, also the romance one of course, because romance story is so interesting to read. 

The story that I made was about a father and his son in days of yore. It was a little bit hard to make it because of several things. The first is about the language. In my opinion, story that was in days of yore should be written in different language, but mine was still not well written. Well at least I have tried okay, hehehe… Second was, I still have some difficulties of making the conflict of the story. It is not easy to make a story because you had to think about the conflict and the ending. If the conflict on the story is not interesting, well, you will not get lots of readers. Some thing applied on the ending of the story. The third was, I still had problems with the grammar and I often forget when I write narrative I should use past or past perfect or past continuous. I also did not pay much attention on the little things such as the punctuation marks and capital letter. However, I still manage to get my story done and I am pretty happy about it.

Overall, I still had to improve myself because I still do not pay closer attention on the small thing and also the important things. I will try to learn every single day like what Taylor Smith does.
