Hidden Treasure (part 1)

Once there was an old man named "John Smith" who lived in a village called "Storybroke". He had a wrinkled oval face and grey hair. He worked as a baker and he always helps everyone who needed his help and advice. He was a very wise and kind man, therefore everyone like to be around him. Storybroke was a peaceful small village which was surrounded by big trees and dense forest. There were also a big waterfall, rivers and beautiful parks. Most of the villagers worked as farmers and bakers.

John Smith lived with his son named “Taylor Smith”. His wife passed away when she gave birth to his son. Taylor was a young handsome and spoiled teenager. He had a straight brown hair and an oval face. He hardly ever worked hard and helped his father. All he done was just adding burden to his father. However, he loved his father very much.

As time went by, John could not stop aging and his body became weaker every single day.  He started to think about his son and imagined how he will live without him. Suddenly, something came up in his mind.

He immediately called his son, “Taylor, my son, come here for a second”

Taylor walked to his father and asked, “What is it again? I thought I already filled up your glass. Do you need more water?”

“That is not the reason why I called you”, John said.

“Let me guess, you want me to go catch the chicken again, aren’t you?” said Taylor with a really annoying tone.

“It’s not that either”, said John in a soft and limp tone.

“Then what is it Father? Just go ahead and say it. I’m getting tired standing here and waiting for you.” Taylor grumbled.

John tried to rise and sit, leaning his back to the wall “You know that I’m in a bad condition and I was not able to do anything like I used to before. You have already grown into a man now and I want you to do something for me. You have to hear me out before you speak out your mind”, said John with a really serious face impression.

Taylor looked into his father face and nodded. He was curious about it and he could not wait any longer. He positioned his body near his father so that he could hear carefully about what his father is going to say.

John took a deep breath before he starts to say anything to his son. After a long breathe, he finally ready to say something. “My son, I want you to …”

Okay, I had to stop right there to make you curious about what Taylor’s father is going to say. Did you enjoy reading it guys? If so, do you have any idea of what John is going to say to his son? To find out the rest of the story, just keep your eyes open for my next post. Love you!
